Central Orpington
From a small ‘manor village estate’ Orpington has become a very big town within the largest of the London Boroughs. The centre of
the Village was based around the junction of the High Street and Chislehurst Road. The High Street as we know it today that runs to
the War Memorial Roundabout is only approximately 90 years old. You will see some buildings and land marks still present today.
This section of the site is the biggest and has taken the longest to build. We take care with the images we have and they are as
